BBC Breakfast took an awkward turn when one guest was scolded for using a 'problem' word. During the latest instalment, hosted by Charlie Stayt and Nina Warhurst, the duo tasked poet, Laura Mucha, with writing a poem about BBC Breakfast as the inspiration with local school children. After hearing the poem on the show, author Laura was in the studio to talk about how they came up with the poem.
Laura admitted: "Well, it's about having ideas but also doing your research because I was conscious that not everybody watches BBC Breakfast" to which Nina was left stunned as she remarked: "What?" Laura continued: "So we may have had a call with a presenter to do some research and we may have spoken to some producers about some of the things that happen. "Some of the kids were very interested about what happens if you fart live on TV but I don’t think that made it into the video!" This prompted host, Charlie, to reply: "Or even what happens when you say that word on live TV because that's also a problem!" The guest instantly looked panicked over Charlie's words to which Nina quickly reassured her with: "It's not, it's not, it could be a problem if it did happen!" with Charlie seen smirking over his joke telling off. This is a breaking showbiz story and is being constantly updated.
