BBC Breakfast made a comeback this Sunday (August 18), with presenters Luxmy Gopal and Roger Johnson at the helm. Despite covering a range of significant global news stories, some viewers couldn't help but grumble about a particular aspect of the programme. The day's coverage included updates on the Israel-Gaza conflict, insights into making air travel more accessible, and a chat with Olympic gold medallist Keely Hodgkinson.

Yet, some sharp-eyed fans were quick to point out that they had seen some of the content before, taking their grievances to social media. Roger introduced a tech segment by saying: "Now it's time for the latest technology news on this week's edition of Click." The show then switched to a pre-recorded part of Click, which this week showcased an innovative new sustainable scooter.

The feature delved into the production process of the scooter and its comparison with other top-tier models. Set to enter production later in the year, the scooter will be priced at €15,000, reports the Express . While the tech segment might have been a hit with gadget enthusiasts, others were irked to see the scooter featured again.

Disgruntled viewers aired their frustration on X, the platform previously known as Twitter . One viewer expressed their annoyance accompanied by crying and dizzy-faced emojis, writing: "Oy..

...

..nooo not click again it was on yesterday #bbcbreakfast.

" (sic) Another disgruntled fan tweeted: "#bbcbreakfast Third time I've seen this episode of #click in two days...

Can I get a refund on my TV licence?" (sic) While another chipped in with their disappointment, saying: "Three times ...

..that's terrible.

" (sic) A further viewer chimed in, half-jokingly complaining about the repetitive nature of the programming: "I bet it's not the full version either," but also confessed with a humourous touch: "I like watching Click but can do without the repeats." (sic) Adding to the morning's drama was a segment introduced by Luxmy, who warned viewers: "Sorry if you're a bit squeamish about this because this one might make you squirm." The segment was addressing a disturbing rat infestation in South Tyneside.

The rodent problem was highlighted by the testimony of locals, capturing an 18-inch-long rat among their many encounters, pointing fingers at escalating trash issues. Luxmy, not immune to the critters' unexpected charm, later expressed: "Well sorry again if you're squeamish of rats, or have rat phobia, but it was, don't judge me, I thought it was quite cute the way that one of them came out to sneak a chip." BBC Breakfast airs from 6am on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
