BBC has commissioned a new series called Policing Paradise, where viewers are going to get an insight into the challenges real officers face. The 16 episodes, which are set on the tropical islands of Bermuda, will follow the officers' daily beat while covering the seven interconnected islands. With 850,000 tourists visiting from around the world every year, the officers will share the unique duties they have to tackle on a daily basis.
The 500-strong police force that'll be seen in the series will feature a mix of native Bermudians, people from across the Caribbean and UK officers who have opted to live abroad. Alex McLeod, Commissioner, BBC Daytime comments: “Policing Paradise is like the real-life Death in Paradise.
