Bargain Hunt is back on BBC One with host Natasha Raskin Sharp overseeing proceedings. Fans of the Scottish antiques expert were lost for words when they discovered she had given birth to her first child at the start of the year. The auctioneer, who specialises in Scottish contemporary art, is married to producer Joe Sharp and the pair were delighted to introduce baby Jean to the world.
Jean is about to hit a huge milestone as she approaches nine months and Natasha has been keeping fans up to date with her life as a parent. Sharing a couple of photos of herself carrying baby Jean, she said on Instagram : "Eight months of no sleep..
.how'd that happen? No early night tonight, though: I'll be on @bbcradioscot from 10pm." She also explained the distraction technique she used with Jean.
"Car keys to distract Jean just in shot. Whatever works, right?!" she added. The auctioneer later shared a 'then and now' post, unveiling a photo viewers probably would not have seen before.
The first image showed Natasha during pregnancy, as she stood in front of the mirror admiring her baby bump. The second image was of Jean enjoying some time on the swings in the sun. She captioned the post: "The same day, one year apart.
So cool. As you can see, we're at the seaside, but a wee holiday won't keep me from @bbcradioscot tonight." Some viewers were left a little confused as they thought Natasha was announcing a second pregnancy.
However, she had tagged the post #throwbackthursday, which should clea.
