Barbie Imperial | Image: Instagram/@msbarbieimperial Actress Barbie Imperial lamented online creators who publish “false and negative” content as she warned the public to be mindful of such posts as they are making those pages become “richer.” In a Facebook on Friday, Oct. 4, Imperial said that she understands the need of content creators to earn income but that it should not be at the expense of truth.

“Ang daming pages ngayon na puro negativity ang pinopost. Worse, puro kasinungalingan para lang umangat ang engagements at kumita ng pera gamit ang paninira. Nagegets ko naman na kailangan kumita ng pera pero sana sa paraang hindi mag sisinungaling,” she wrote.



(There are lots of pages today that post negativities. Worse, the things they post are lies just to increase engagements and make money through defamation. I understand their need to earn money but hopefully in a way that they don’t have to lie.

) Facebook/Barbie Imperial The “Araw Gabi” actress expressed that it saddened her that many people easily believe false content online without verifying the information first. “Ingat sa pag comment and like, pinapayaman nyo po yang mga may ari ng pages na yan. Nakakalungkot kasi paninira na ang strategy ng marketing ngayon, at ang daming naniniwala without fact checking,” she stated.

(Be careful with commenting and liking those posts because you are allowing the owners of those pages to become richer. It’s sad because today’s marketing strategy is all ma.
