Saturday, October 5, 2024 Today, Mr. Pichai Naripthaphan, the Minister of Commerce, heralded the triumphant outcome of the International Live Commerce Expo 2024, organized by the Department of International Trade Promotion under the Ministry of Commerce. This landmark campaign involved prominent Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) from China and achieved a total revenue of over THB 1.

5 billion, thanks to more than 4.3 million orders placed for Thai products destined primarily for the Chinese market. Central to the expo’s success were the live-streaming sessions that captivated an audience of 115 million viewers from China, demonstrating a robust appetite for Thai products through live commerce platforms.



The expo, which ran from September 25 to 29 at Samyan Mitrtown in Bangkok, saw enthusiastic participation from the start. Chinese KOLs engaged in live sessions from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily, pushing the promotion and sales of Thai products. Over the course of the event, more than 60 live sessions were conducted, each significantly boosting overall sales and contributing to the campaign’s success.
