Friday, November 22, 2024 The StandardX opens its second hotel in Bangkok’s old town, blending art, culture, and hospitality with vibrant dining, local art, and stunning riverfront views. The StandardX Expands with New Hotel in Bangkok’s Historic District The StandardX has unveiled its second property, The StandardX Bangkok Phra Arthit, adding to its growing portfolio of lifestyle hotels. This follows the successful launch of The StandardX Melbourne in the Fitzroy neighborhood last year.

True to the brand’s commitment to blending art, culture, and hospitality, the Bangkok hotel features the 10 10 Art Gallery, showcasing works by local artists. Plans are also underway to introduce an artist-in-residence program, further integrating the local creative scene into the property. Renowned artists Gongkan and MRKREME were commissioned to adorn the hotel’s street-facing and riverfront facades with their distinctive murals, enhancing the property’s artistic appeal.



Nestled in Bangkok’s historic old town along the Chao Phraya River, the hotel offers 62 elegantly designed guest rooms, ranging from 30 to 46 square meters. Guests can choose from four room categories: Cozy King, Cozy Twin, King on the River, and King of Kings. Dining at The StandardX Bangkok includes BANG , a vibrant all-day Thai restaurant also featured in the Melbourne location, and a rooftop poolside bar.
