The co-owners held a soft opening on Monday Sept. 30 and Tuesday Oct.1 to help prep the kitchen, get workers ready and allow family and friends to get the first peek at their new establishment.

“We are so excited to be open to the community, our first soft opening was a test run for all of us to try and get the kinks out for opening night. We are so thrilled with how it has all turned out and we're excited to bring our vision to Warrensburg,” Laurie Rinke-Langworthy said. She is a co-owner with her husband Darby Langworthy and Darby’s cousin Adam Langworthy and his wife Brooke.



The restaurant has officially opened, and this weekend they are celebrating Oktoberfest in their outdoor beer garden. They will be serving craft beers from their own local brewery as well as others from around the area. The brewery also has an extensive all-day menu as well as a dinner menu beginning at 5 p.

m. Head Chef Deane Moss has decades of culinary experience and is excited to bring his taste of flavor to Warrensburg. “Bandstand excites me for many reasons.

The best analogy is it is like having a child, you get to watch it grow and become part of the whole community. This truly is a special place with special people,” Moss said. The ownership group has been repurposing the building for about a year, bringing the main barn down to studs, installing a new roof and new siding.

In its new form, the beams of the former barn have been left intact and the space has been turned into a dining ro.
