The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 435 Keating Drive, will have its annual fall bake sale from 8 a.m. to 5 p.
m. Nov. 23.
The sale will offer pastries all day, and hot lunch meals beginning at 11 a.m. Organized by the Winston-Salem Philoptochos Society, the philanthropic arm of the church, the bake sale will be takeout only.
The sale will feature such classic Greek pastries as baklava and koulourakia, as well as such savory dishes as spanakopita, pastichio, moussaka, Greek salad and chicken rigonato. Customers also can get large frozen pans of spanakopita, pastichio, moussaka, tiropita (cheese phyllo pie) and galaktoboureko (custard). New this year is portokalopita, an orange pie sold by the slice.
Customers can place orders in advance through clover.com through Nov. 22.
