The Great New Year's Bake Off is about to be aired but co-host Alison Hammond has opened up about why she was "really upset" with Paul Hollywood while they were filming the second festive special. Straight off the back of crowning Emmerdale's Chris Bisson as the winner in The Great Christmas Bake Off soap special, there's barely been a moment's pause before the next seasonal show kicks off. The upcoming New Year's episode will see former Scottish contenders from the series come together for a Hogmanay celebration within the iconic Bake Off tent.

Nicky, Peter, Lea, Kevin, James, and Norman are set to create mouth-watering delights that pay tribute to Scotland. The event wasn't without its style and flair, as the judges and hosts donned Scottish-themed attire, and even brought in a traditional ceilidh band to ensure the affair had flair. But amid the high spirits, Alison couldn't hide her disappointment towards the legendary judge Paul Hollywood regarding his outfit choice, reports Birmingham Live .
