The Bachelorette 's Jenn Tran says a suitor's recent self-elimination during Night five left her "not feeling good enough." During the episode, Devin , Sam, Marcus, Spencer, Jeremy, Dylan and Austin went with Jenn on a sheepherding group date. They competed for the Most Valuable Farmer with the grand prize being some extra time with Jenn but the guys struggled to find the gate to herd the sheep through.

She added that she wondered about “a future in which I end up alone.

” Sam M., Marcus, and Devin all comforted Jenn privately, and because of everyone’s support, she decided she didn’t feel right giving out a group date rose to just one man. Austin is the second contestant to self-eliminate this season, after Aaron Erb decided to leave after getting a call from flight school that came an amazing opportunity.

The 29-year-old aerospace engineer from Tulsa, Oklahoma , revealed during the episode that he had received a call from the U.S. Air Force offering him a chance to start flight school.

Faced with a tough decision, Aaron chose to leave the show and pursue his dream of becoming a pilot . This self-elimination earned him a “hero’s edit,” highlighting his commitment to serve the country. Before the season premiere , Aaron teased his pilot aspirations: “Wow ILC of the lovERBoy starts tonight.
