The Bachelorette 's Jenn Tran had an eventful Hometowns episode, but her intense conversation with Jeremy's mom has fans fuming. Jenn met the families of Jonathan, Jeremy, Devin and Marcus during Night seven and sent home one suitor ahead of the Fantasy Suites episode next week that will see her down to three final men. In Fairfield, Connecticut , though, Jenn met up with Jeremy for what fans called an "unhinged" yet "so cute" date at a quirky local super market before the pair met Jeremy's family, including his mother Karen.

After a tense conversation between the mother and son, Karen sat down with Jenn to see where her head was at. "That's a big question," Jenn said. "We can just always have the best time." She added that while he's funny and a mush ball, he's there for her.
"This is like not a game. This is your future," Karen warned. "You think that you and Jeremy have a bond that really goes beyond the fun part of it.
" "He wouldn't be here if I didn't think he could be a life partner for me," Jenn added. Jenn said she was scared of being too compfortable in the fun part of the relationship and asked Karen if she thought Jeremy was ready to get engaged. "So it has a lot to do with you as a couple. I think if it was the right person, he could be ready. But I don't know how you two are together.
This is hopefully a lifetime commitment." Karen wished Jenn luck on her journey but Jenn was left scared that she didn't sound convinced that her son was ready for an engagement. Jeremy then told Jenn that he was falling in love with her.
