A POPULAR American theme park has announced it will unveil two new attractions for extra family-friendly fun. The park experiences will allow guests to splash around and ride high above it all. Carowinds' Camp Snoopy has revealed it will open two brand new rides in 2025 as part of the largest investment in family attractions in the park’s history, according to IPM News .
The new additions at the award-winning park, located in North Carolina, will include a roller coaster as well as an interactive raft ride. These rides are just part of their expansion, which will also feature splash play zones, as well as a meet-and-greet experience with popular Peanuts costume characters. Those looking for a thrill will soon be able to buck up in their newest rollercoaster - Snoopy’s Racing Railway.
Read more in amusement parks Visitors will join Snoopy as he races to deliver root beer and pizza to Camp Snoopy’s Mess Hall, where Woodstock and his yellow bird friends will be wreaking havoc. Adults and kids of all ages will enjoy plenty of twists and turns as the ride speeds up from zero to 31 miles per hour in mere seconds. Riders will have double the fun as they race through the course twice.
Guests looking to make waves will find them in Charlie Brown’s River Raft Blast at Snoopy's swimming hole. Most read in Travel With eight seats in each boat, there is enough room for the whole family . Water fight fun is sure to take place, as you will find water cannons both on-board and onshore.
Raft riders will be able to splash each other as they go through the river channel. You will also spot some Peanuts characters floating and splashing along the way. "We’re excited to introduce the latest adventures in Camp Snoopy in 2025,” said Manny Gonzalez, vice president and general manager for Carowinds.
“Our re-imagined Camp Snoopy will allow families to ride and play together, immersing them in a summer camp experience with the Peanuts gang," he continued. He hopes that the new additions will help families create more memories. Snoopy's new splash zone areas were designed for guests to have fun while beating the heat.
