Instagram influencer Avneet Kaur is being slammed for not fulfilling her commitment to a recent social media collaboration deal. Rang, a homegrown jewelry brand, has accused Kaur of breach of contract. Rang, the jewelry brand, took to social media and shared screenshots of their interactions with Kaur, alleging that she agreed to a collaboration during her Europe trip and received multiple jewelry pieces from the brand to wear during her vacation.

Despite repeated promises, Kaur allegedly failed to credit the brand in any of her posts featuring the jewelry, disregarding a “verbal commitment.” Rang’s post also mentioned how Kaur wore the brand’s jewelry to accessorize her look alongside outfits from luxury brands like Dior and Vivienne Westwood. While Kaur flaunted the jewelry, she only tagged these ornaments as sourced from the aforementioned high-end brand.

“Hey, I will pay them. How much is it?” she told her stylist who reminded her to tag the brand. Screenshots of a conversation between the brand’s PR team and Kaur reportedly show her offering to pay for the pieces instead of fulfilling the agreed-upon promotion.

In the caption of their post, Rang wrote, “It took me a few days to decide whether to share this incident on social media, but I realized I can’t stay silent when it’s important to take a stand,” adding they “Care deeply about our customers, the stylists we work with, and the celebrities who wear our jewelry.” The caption continued, “This isn’t about naming and shaming anyone, but about speaking the truth.” The post quickly went viral, attracting criticism against Kaur.

Netizens called out Kaur for her alleged “shady behavior,” and one wrote, “Avneet is extremely shady. Rose to fame for literally nothing. Hope that you get the credit you deserve.

” The incident has sparked a conversation about influencer responsibility and exploitation of small businesses. Avneet Kaur is yet to address the allegations..
