The world of James Cameron’s Avatar is expanding into Disney parks with new attractions themed after current films in the series – and projects we haven’t seen yet. Disney pulled back the curtain to reveal more about its Avatar theme park plans during the Disney Experiences Showcase at D23 2024. Avatar Land will come to Disney California Adventure and is themed after locations and characters seen in movies like Avatar: The Way of Water.
That means oceanic sights and sounds are coming to this Pandora theme park installment, but Disney says it also plans to include attractions based on projects like the recently announced , as well as other future Avatar films. Disney’s Ali Rubenstein teases that Avatar Land will feature everything Pandora has to offer, and that means settings that are just as beautiful as they are dangerous.
