However what if you need to pop to the shops during the bank holiday? MailOnline have comprised a full list of all the major supermarkets opening times over the long weekend. Tesco Tesco 's large Extra stories will open at either 6am or 7am and close as late as midnight on Saturday.

On Sunday the stores will open at 10am or 11am and close at 4pm or 5pm. On bank holiday Monday, the stores will open from 8am to 6pm. Tesco Express stores open at 6am and close at 11pm or midnight from Monday through to Sunday.



These hours will remain the same despite the Bank Holiday. Tesco's large Extra stories will open at either 6am or 7am and close as late as midnight on Saturday. On Sunday the stores will open at 10am or 11am and close at 4pm or 5pm Aldi Aldi stories will operate under their normal hours on Saturday and Sunday - which ate 8am until 10pm on Saturday and 10am till 4pm on Sunday.

Their stores will open at 8am on Monday and close at 8pm. Morrisons On Saturday Morrisons will open at 6am or 7am and close between 10pm and midnight. Although some of these stores are 24 hours and operate midnight to midnight on Saturday.

Then on Sunday Morrisons open at 10am or 11am depending on the stores and close at 4pm or 5pm. On Monday stores will open at 7am or 8am and close at 8pm. Morrisons Daily stores will open from 7am until 10pm.

Asda Asda's usual opening hours will be in operation on Saturday and Sunday. Most Asda stores open between 6am or 7am and close at between 10pm and midnight and on Sunday stores open from either 10am or 11am to between 4pm and 5pm. Depending on the stores, Asda will open either an hour earlier or later on bank holiday monday.

The majority of larger Asda stores will be opening later between 7am and 8am and closing between 10pm and 11pm.
