Once a prestigious center of learning for over a century, Collegio alla Querce gazes over Florence’s iconic Duomo and its sea of terracotta rooftops. From 1774 onwards, the brightest minds of Europe walked its marble corridors, leading to the library, theatre, and chapel, as well as its beautifully manicured gardens. Today, under the visionary leadership of Analjit Singh, founder of the Leeu Collection, the property has been transformed into an elegant 83-room hotel, expertly blending historic character with modern luxury.
Esteva i Esteva, the celebrated Spanish father-son architectural duo, led the restoration, while local design firm ArchFlorence infused the interiors with sophisticated Florentine flair.
