Delta Air Lines Unveils Summer 2025 Route Adjustments with Strategic Changes Delta Air Lines has announced significant updates to its summer 2025 schedule, involving route eliminations in Central America and the reinstatement of key domestic services along the West Coast. Route Adjustments Begin in May 2025 In early May, Delta will cease operations on two routes from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Central America.

At the same time, the airline will reintroduce flights from LAX to Anchorage, Alaska (ANC), and revive service between Las Vegas (LAS) and San Jose, California (SJC). Delta is discontinuing two non-stop routes from Los Angeles: Other airlines, including Alaska Airlines, Avianca, United, and Volaris, will continue to serve these destinations from the Los Angeles area. Meanwhile, Delta will maintain connections to both San Salvador and Guatemala City through its hub at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL).



Delta will restore its non-stop weekly flights between LAX and Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC) starting May 24, 2025. This marks Delta’s return to the LAX-Anchorage route, last operated in 2021. The service will compete directly with Alaska Airlines on this popular seasonal route.

Delta will also resume daily non-stop flights between Harry Reid .
