In a significant crackdown on oil pilferage, the Kaliabor police in Assam successfully apprehended five members of a notorious oil theft gang. The arrests, led by the sub-divisional police, resulted in the seizure of two luxury vehicles and Rs 1 lakh in cash. The oil theft occurred in Kaliabor, specifically in the Naltali region.
