In a major breakthrough in the fight against illegal drug trade, the Borni Shantipur Police have arrested Rafik Ali, a suspected drug supplier, during a well-coordinated anti-drug operation. The arrest followed a tip-off from vigilant citizens about Ali's suspected involvement in drug trafficking. During his arrest, police found 23 containers hidden in Ali's jacket, believed to contain heroin powder.

A further investigation at the scene resulted in the recovery of Rs 5,210 in cash, a mobile phone, and a luxury car with the registration number AS-01AA 2115. The vehicle has been connected to multiple reported cases of cattle theft, raising additional concerns about Ali's criminal activities. Local residents have repeatedly raised concerns about Ali's suspicious behavior and his suspected involvement in illegal activities, including drug trafficking.



These concerns, along with recent intelligence reports, led the police to initiate a focused operation to capture the suspected drug supplier. Rafik Ali is currently in police custody, where he is being interrogated to uncover more details about his drug network, supply chains, and possible links to other criminal activities. The Borni Shantipur Police have assured the public that the investigation is ongoing and reaffirmed their commitment to dismantling the illegal drug trade in the region.
