In a major breakthrough in the fight against illegal drug trade, the Borni Shantipur Police have arrested Rafik Ali, a suspected drug supplier, during a well-coordinated anti-drug operation. The arrest followed a tip-off from vigilant citizens about Ali's suspected involvement in drug trafficking. During his arrest, police found 23 containers hidden in Ali's jacket, believed to contain heroin powder.
A further investigation at the scene resulted in the recovery of Rs 5,210 in cash, a mobile phone, and a luxury car with the registration number AS-01AA 2115. The vehicle has been connected to multiple reported cases of cattle theft, raising additional concerns about Ali's criminal activities.
