She says the most awful things — mostly true, I have to say — about other members of the family, and she doesn’t care who hears her, even kids.

The issue is, while I absolutely adore this person and agree with most of her opinions, it just doesn’t feel safe to me and it also isn’t something I want my kids to do or see. I would like them to feel all of us have each other’s backs. There was an incident recently when my teenage daughter was present and there was a rather biting conversation about an elderly aunt.
