Prior to Game 4 of the World Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Yankees, the fans in the Bronx were treated to a beautiful rendition of "The Star-Spangled Banner." Grammy-winning singer and actress Ashanti was invited to Yankee Stadium to perform the national anthem for Game 4 . Although the crowd will be rocking tonight, they made sure to give her the floor prior to the first pitch.

And to the surprise of absolutely no one, she delivered a great performance. Judging by the reactions on social media, MLB fans wouldn't mind if Ashanti sings the national anthem for Game 5. That is, of course, if the Yankees force another game out of this series.

"Great performance we need anything we can get to win this game," a Yankees fan said. "She did an amazing job," a fan wrote on X. Another fan commented, "Massive game.

Huge moment. Unbelievable jacket. Top tier rendition.

All that was missing was a flyover." "Y’all need to stop playing with my girl and her vocals. Great job," a fourth person added.

Ashanti is no stranger to singing the national anthem before a major sporting event. Just a few years ago, she was invited to Arrowhead Stadium for the AFC Championship Game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals. With that said, Ashanti's performance tonight may have been her best.

The Dodgers have a commanding 3-0 series lead over the Yankees. They'll try to close out the series tonight in the Bronx. As for the Yankees, they'll try to make history and becom.
