Artem Chigvintsev has accused his estranged wife Nikki Garcia of domestic violence. The allegations come a month after she filed to end their two-year marriage with the Dancing With The Stars alum sharing a series of pictures of his alleged injuries from an altercation with his wife. Artem, 40, has claimed that former WWE wrestler Nikki, 40, was "the aggressor" in the recent domestic violence dispute that led to his arrest on August 29 , to which he pleaded not guilty.
Images submitted to the Superior Court of California show a series of marks and scratches on Artem's body including his elbow and hands as well as behind his ear. The dancer has alleged that these marks were inflicted on him by Nikki. Chigvintsev contacted law enforcement on 8/29/24 seeking protection from his wife’s persistent aggression. While he was on the phone with the police, Ms. Garcia-Colace made a pointed statement, saying, 'Do you understand where this is going now, Artem? You just ruined my career, and you know it'.
" Artem received a restraining order against Nikki, who was granted her own against him earlier in the day, on Thursday . On Sept. 11, Nikki initially filed a dissolution of marriage with a California court.
