Lucknow: People enjoyed an art exhibition titled ‘Towards Nature ’ organised by Art Family at Kalasort Art Gallery on Sunday. The exhibition will remain on display for the public till Aug 9 from 2pm to 8pm daily. As many as 26 artists participated in the exhibition and 81 artworks were displayed.

The curator of the exhibition, Rajeev Sikdar, said, “With rapid growth of technology and industrialisation, we are moving away from nature, so this is an effort to bring mankind back to nature.” An artist, Navneet Kaur Randhawa (34), said, “I have depicted places of natural beauty such as landscapes, seas, beaches, and mountains.” Meanwhile, another artist, Desh Deepak (38), said, “I have used natural elements in my work such as soil and crushed leaves to depict how we are exploiting nature by building industries and cutting grasslands.



” Another senior artist, Hina Bhatt, said, “My work is a series called Rituraj. I have depicted the natural beauty of light in different reflections by showing how light penetrates through leaves using oil colours.” A visitor, Amritansh Singhal (medical student), said, “I really loved the exhibition because I am an art lover, and this is a wonderful step to remind people about admiring and conserving nature, which they have forgotten in the age of technology.
