Recently, Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi spoke to Mashable India about a number of topics as a part of the Mehfil interview series. At one point during the conversation, Warsi was asked what’s the one thing he wants to do in his career. The actor said that he ‘definitely’ wants to direct a feature film.
Speaking about the same, Warsi said, “I will definitely (direct a movie). I 100% want to direct. I just love this profession, it’s so exciting.
And this is the only profession where everyday you do something different. It’s so exciting to meet different people and do different things. Every day you go to work, you’re doing something else.
I love that feeling. And being a director, having everything in your control and really getting your vision out there, you might succeed or fail, but at least to have the satisfaction that you’ve done what you’ve wanted to do. So I will someday direct.
” You can watch the full interview below. When asked who his favorite actors are, the ones he’d like to cast in his directorial venture, Warsi said, “I’ll have a problem working with people who I believe are not good actors. Simple as that.
If you ask me who I consider as great actors, for me Alia Bhatt is a great actor, and Ranbir Kapoor is a great actor, there are so many of them. The newcomers are so good. Rajkummar Rao is very good.
Ayushmann Khurrana is very good. Deepika Padukone too. Kriti Sanon is doing so well.
