Time Out has released its seventh annual list with Strathbungo in the city's Southside coming in at number 22 on the charts. It is the only Glasgow entry - in fact, the only entry in Scotland - to feature. Strathbungo is known for its elegant Victorian architecture including traditional tenement houses, great local pubs and restaurants and its annual Window Wonderland where residents place artwork in their windows to create one long gallery in the street.

Time Out compiled the list based on culture, diverse things to do and a great sense of community. To create the ranking this year, Time Out’s global travel editors worked with local writers and editors across some of the world’s best cities and asked them what the 'coolest neighbourhood' in their city is right now, and why.
