It has been nearly a month since the Season Six finale of “Love Island USA” aired, but viewers have still been speculating about cast dynamics as they gear up for the reunion episode. Fans of the hit Peacock dating show have been following the islanders’ every move on social media over the last few weeks, and many are questions still remain about the status of Nicole Jacky and Kendall Washington’s relationship. The couple — who came in fourth place behind winners Serena Page and Kordell Beckham , runner-ups Leah Kateb and Miguel Harichi and third place finishers JaNa Craig and Kenny Rodriguez — have had their social media interactions dissected by viewers leading up to the reunion on Aug.

But after Kendall questioned if Hannah had feelings for another islander, he started to hold back and focused on pursuing other options. Nicole Jacky, a 26-year-old medical sales rep, then made a steamy entrance into the villa when she had to introduce herself by kissing two islanders.
She kissed Kendall, who was blindfolded during this encounter, and their chemistry was instant. The two went on a date on the beach, where they bonded over their upbringings and mutual interests like “Star Wars.” Kordell and Hakeem White also expressed interest in Nicole, but when it was time to couple up, she chose Kendall.
Nicole and Kendall quickly became one of the strongest couples in the villa — but they faced another test when bombshell Miguel Harichi arrived. Nicole revealed she wanted to get to know Miguel, which upset Kendall. In response, he publicly announced he wanted to keep his options open in the “Stick or Twist” challenge.

Nicole also addressed his behavior with him, but they swiftly moved past the issue. In the final episodes of the season, Kendall and Nicole enjoyed a trip to the Hideaway and agreed to be exclusive. They met each other’s families via video call, and Kendall’s sister implied that he was falling in love, which surprised Nicole.
Kendall waited until their final date to fully express his feelings. After spending the day at sea parasailing, they had a picnic and reflected on their journey. Kendall told Nicole he loved her, but she did not express that back.

On July 26, Nicole posted about the show, but only included one picture of Kendall in her “VILLA DUMP” slideshow on Instagram . “Beyond grateful for this experience and the family we created,” she said in the caption. “So much love for everyone and from the bottom of my heart, a big thanks to all the support I’ve received since being home.
You guys don’t know how much it means. My heart is so full. Happy to be back outside MWAH.
” Although Kendall replied to the post, fans pointed out in the comments that she did not mention him in her caption. He also did not reference her in his finale post on Instagram . He shared a carousel of photos July 23 that featured just two snaps with Nicole.
“I want to take the time to thank @loveislandusa for the best summer of my life,” he began in the caption. “I couldn’t have asked for a better group of islanders to have done it with either. I truly left that experience with a new family.
” He continued, “I am so grateful for the encouraging and loving messages I’ve been receiving from you guys. You have no idea how much it means to me to read through them. It’s been overwhelming to get back to everyone but I promise I will.
Here’s to the next chapter.” Kendall and Nicole joined many of their fellow Season Six islanders for a trip to Universal Studios Hollywood last month. However, they did not upload any photos or videos together and did not interact in other cast members’ posts.
