EA has confirmed the Apex Legends season 22 start time, bringing a host of new game modes and changes to the battle royale when the update goes live. With the release of the Shockwave patch slated for August, there is not long left to wait. Season 22 adds the ability to use P20s and Mozambiques Akimbo style, using two guns at the same time.

Alongside this, there are no quality-of-life changes and a brand-new map to enjoy. The Apex Legends season 22 start time is set for 6pm BST / 10am PDT / 1pm EDT on Tuesday, August 6 2024. This start time has been confirmed by EA and 6pm in the UK is when Apex updates always go live.

As such, this date is locked in and we can all start playing the new season on Tuesday. More information about the patch has been shared on the official , detailing the new maps, modes, and changes coming in Apex Legends: Shockwave.
