is recalling the Lucid-branded platform beds with an upholstered square tufted headboard. According to the U.S.

Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada, the beds can sag, break or collapse during use. To date, there have been 245 incidents of this occurring in the U.S.

, causing 18 injuries. An additional 11 reports of bed failures have been reported in Canada. Owners of the platform beds under recall are urged to stop using them immediately and contact Lucid for a free replacement frame.

Hunter Biden's sentencing on federal firearms charges delayed until December WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) — Hunter Biden will be sentenced on felony firearms charges in December after the judge agreed to a delay requested by the defense. President Joe Biden’s son was convicted in June of three felonies to the purchase of a gun in 2018 when, prosecutors said, he lied on a federal form by saying he was not illegally using or addicted to drugs.

He was initially scheduled to be sentenced on Nov. 13, but the judge agreed to delay the hearing until Dec. 4 after Hunter Biden’s lawyers said they needed more time to adequately prepare.

The gun charges are punishable by up to 25 years in prison, though he is likely to get far less time or avoid prison entirely. The NFL has strict rules for celebrations and players are reminded annually that violations will result in unsportsmanlike penalties. London’s celebration came 12 days after four people were killed in a shooting at Apalachee High School near Winder, Georgia. An iconic Churchill photo stolen in Canada and found in Italy is ready to return ROME (AP) — A ceremony at the Canadian Embassy in Rome has marked the successful recovery of a stolen photo portrait of Winston Churchill, known as “The Roaring Lion,” after a two-year search. Italy's Carabinieri police handed over the portrait to the Canadian ambassador to Italy, Elissa Goldberg, who praised the cooperation between Italian and Canadian investigators that led to the recovery. The 1941 portrait of the British leader was taken by Ottawa photographer Yousuf Karsh.

Canadian police say it was stolen from the Fairmont Château Laurier hotel in Ottawa sometime between Christmas 2021 and Jan. 2022, and replaced with a forgery. The original was found to have been sold at auction and the Italian buyer has returned it.

Detroit Lions coach Dan Campbell is selling his house to seek more privacy BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich. (AP) — Lions coach Dan Campbell is selling his suburban Detroit home to get more privacy. Campbell tells Crain's Detroit Business that the home is beautiful but that “people figured out where we lived” when the Lions lost.

Campbell and wife Holly listed the 7,800-square-foot house in Bloomfield Hills for $4.5 million this week. A deal was pending within 24 hours.

Campbell was hired by the Lions in 2021. After winning just three games that season, the team has become one of the best in the NFL. Campbell’s home was built in 2013 for Hockey Hall of Famer Igor Larionov.

Oktoberfest tightens security after a deadly knife attack in western Germany MUNICH (AP) — Oktoberfest has tightened security at the beer festival in the wake of a deadly knife attack in western Germany last month. The Islamic State militant group claimed responsibility, without providing evidence, for the Aug. 23 violence in Solingen that left three dead and eight wounded.

The 189th annual Oktoberfest begins Saturday with the traditional keg-tapping in Munich, Germany's third-largest city. Some 6 million participants, many wearing traditional lederhosen and dirndl dresses, are expected over the course of the event. Hundreds of police officers and 2,000 security staff will be spread across the grounds of the festival.

High fences will surround the festival grounds, which will only be accessible through metal detectors. FAA investigating after Delta passengers report bleeding ears and noses SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating after a Delta Air Lines flight with pressurization issues left some passengers with bleeding eardrums, headaches and bloody noses. The flight was traveling Sunday from Salt Lake City to Portland, Oregon, when pilots noticed a pressurization problem and made an emergency landing back in Salt Lake City.

Passengers told television station KSL they noticed people bleeding as the plane decreased in elevation. Paramedics met passengers at the gate and identified at least 10 people out of the 140 on the flight who required medical attention. The airline said the plane was taken out of service Sunday morning and went back into service Monday.

Jean Smart, Ariana Grande, Michael Keaton among hosts for 'SNL' season 50 NEW YORK (AP) — Fresh off her Emmys win, Jean Smart will kick off “Saturday Night Live’s” landmark 50th season. NBC announced the lineup of hosts for the season Thursday. It premieres Sept.

28. It will be Smart’s first time hosting “SNL” and she'll be joined by Jelly Roll as musical guest. Nate Bargatze will host on Oct.

5, with Coldplay performing. Ariana Grande will be the host, with musical guest Stevie Nicks on Oct. 12.

“Beetlejuice” star Michael Keaton will host on Oct. 19 and Billie Eilish will be that night’s musical guest. The host on Nov.

2 will be “SNL” alum John Mulaney, with breakout musical sensation Chappell Roan. He was a prolific songwriter and musician whose collaborations with the Eagles and Linda Ronstadt helped shape the country-rock sound that took root in Southern California in the 1970s.

Souther joined in on some of the Eagles’ biggest hits, such as “Best of My Love,” “New Kid in Town,” and “Heartache Tonight." The Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee also collaborated with James Taylor, Bob Seger, Bonnie Raitt and many more. His biggest hit as a solo artist was “You’re Only Lonely.
