The episode begins with Anuj revealing that he died the same day that Aadhya said goodbye to him. He holds Anupama accountable for Aadhya's distance from him. Anuj believes they should not have adopted Aadhya and should have raised her in an institution instead.
He regrets choosing his love over his daughter, who never wanted to live with Anupama. Anuj claims that he and Anupama murdered Aadhya. Anupama and Anuj become emotional as they reminisce about beautiful memories of Aadhya.
Vanraj grabs Anuj and hugs him. He apologises to Anuj and empathises with his grief at losing a child. Anupama is convinced that Aadhya is not dead and is simply missing.
She becomes hopeful about finding Aadhya. Anuj claims that deceased people never return. He refuses to pardon Anupama.
Vanraj begins criticising Anupama, calling her a terrible omen. He has Anuj describe how he advised him multiple times to avoid Anupama, but he did not listen. Toshu and Pakhi join in and blame Anupama for failing to be a decent mother to them.

Ankush and Barkha become concerned about Anupama's return. They are afraid of the consequences of their misdeeds. The couple recalls bringing Anuj back from the United States, administering hazardous medications to him, and worsening his health.
They admit that they wrongfully took over Anuj's business. As soon as Meenu arrives at college, her seniors start ragging her. Sagar arrives just in time to save her, impressing Meenu.
