It's easy to mistake the two, especially when drugstores and beauty retailers have a slew of options packaged similarly, but knowing the difference between deodorant and antiperspirant can help you find the right product for your needs. Simply put, one helps mask the smell of sweat while the other prevents sweat and body odor.
