Much like Muse Communication’s entry into India , Ani-One may start dubbing anime in regional languages like Hindi. Ani-One Asia also offers a paid subscription, Ani-One Asia Ultra, priced at ₹119. Some flagship anime titles on the platform are locked behind this subscription.
Medialink co-founder and CEO Lovinia Chiu mentioned in an interview with Anime News Network that India is among their next target markets , and the company’s five-year plan includes expanding into anime merchandise. Medialink already has a foothold in India’s anime scene, having distributed anime films like Haikyu!! The Dumpster Battle and Blue Lock the Movie: Episode Nagi in Indian theatres.
