Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are poised to reunite at the Venice Film Festival next month after their very bitter divorce, and as their children remove "Pitt" from their names. Brad and Angelina, who split up in 2016, share six children from their marriage together. The couple share 22-year-old Maddox, 19-year-old Pax, 18-year-old Zahara, 17-year-old Shiloh, and 15-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

After two years of marriage and a 12-year relationship, Angelina filed for divorce from Brad, with this taking place in 2016. According to TMZ, Jolie's legal documents cited that the split was due to irreconcilable differences. And as the couple's bitter legal feud over their French vineyard continues on, the quarreling couple are poised to reunite in a way at a film festival this summer.

Angelina and Brad will have new films premiere at the Venice Film Festival, which begins on August 28. Angelina will premiere a biopic about opera singer Maria Callas, which is entitled Maria, while her ex-husband Brad will premiere his new flick Wolfs, which sees him team up with pal George Clooney once again for the comedy thriller. According to the synopsis, Maria is an upcoming biographical drama film about opera singer Maria Callas.

It is directed by Pablo Larraín, written by Steven Knight, produced by Fremantle, and stars Angelina Jolie in the title role, with Valeria Golino as her sister Yakinthi, and Haluk Bilginer as Aristotle Onassis. Meanwhile, the synopsis for Wolfs states how the movie follows two lone wolf fixers who are "hired to cover up a high-profile crime, a fixer soon finds his night spiraling out of control when he's forced to work with an unexpected counterpart". The couple, who are feuding over their vineyard, Chateau Miraval, bought the estate together in 2008.

Although purchasing it together, Brad took on the leading role in the business which produces award-winning sparkling rosé wine. But the couple's legal battle over the vineyard was ramped up when Angelina accused Brad of physical abuse prior to their infamous 2016’s plane flight. This comes amid reports that Angelina's father believes she has been "exposed to propaganda".

The 49-year-old actress’ father, Jon Voigt, 85, has claimed that his daughter’s views on the Israel-Hamas war have been influenced by “anti-Semitic people”. He added during an outspoken interview with Variety: “She has been exposed to propaganda. She’s been influenced by anti-Semitic people.

Angie has a connection to the UN, and she’s enjoyed speaking out for refugees. But these people are not refugees.” Jon was referring to Angelina’s former position as a special envoy of the UN High Commission for Refugees.
