. Andy Lee and fiancée Rebecca Harding a preparing for a wedding. But there were some other celebrations in order first.

Andy took to Instagram to congratulate Bec on her women's razor and body care business LUI turning one in August 2024, and the grin on his face said it all. "Congrats to these two!! Amazing to think @luibody is one year old 🧁Watching you guys pour your heart into this range has been inspiring," Andy wrote alongside this snap. "The real upside for me with LUI being invented is Bec stopped stealing my effing razor 🪒," he jested.

"I'd encourage all men to get their partner one so you can go back to having your own razor for your own face!" It was all smiles in the snap as Andy posed alongside Bec and her business partner Ingid. Nope, this isn't Hamish Blake in a blue monster suit. It's Andy's beloved character Wizz from his award-winning children's books.

While we know his TV career well, to some fans' surprise he's also the author of the immensely popular Do Not Open This Book series. The star wrapped up his tour at the Lisbon Book Fair in Portugal in June 2024 as he stopped by to sign books and meet his young international fans. In fact, his best-selling picture book Do Not Open This Book won the award of Best Picture Book 2021 in Portugal.

.. "The Lisbon Book Fair has finished up for another year," Andy captioned a video highlight from the big day.

"Thanks so much to all of those in Portugal for coming out to see me and getting your books signed. Even though Wizz was pretty angry about it!" It was a full house for Andy as over a hundred kids and their parents lined up to meet and listen to the star talk. His latest book Pretty Please Do Not Open This Book is the ninth in the series.

"Thank you so much for bringing your talent and humour to Lisbon," commented one parent. "And for creating a generation of clever disobeying kids throughout the world. 😉✨.

" So how did Andy become an author? On his website, Andy joked that he "became an award winning children's books' author by accident". "The first book in this series was only ever meant to have one copy. Andy wrote it as a surprise for his sister and her husband to celebrate their son George's first birthday," the author wrote in his bio.

"When he asked his mate to print him one copy, his mate said, 'This book is good, can we print more?'" And the rest, is history! Congratulations are in order for Andy and Bec who, as of May 2024, are officially engaged! Speaking on The Fox's Fifi, Fev & Nick one month later, Andy revealed the incredibly sweet gesture he used to pop the question. Turns out, he proposed with a napkin! He explained why..

. "So, when I first met Bec, in a café, she was a waitress, and she was busy..

. I left my email address [on the napkin], which she didn't like, but I just said, 'If you have a boyfriend, just tell him that I'm using you to get to him. I bet he's handsome.

'" The next day Andy returned and left Bec another napkin, with a very similar message. When it came time to propose, Andy explained that he pretended to see something inside of the old marble fireplace inside their Ravenswood Home. He went to take a look and stayed down on one knee.

"I proposed with the napkin, which she loved," he admitted. He admitted his best pal Hamish Blake joked, "Hamish said I had to spend three months salary on the napkin!" Speaking of their engagement, Andy laughed: "Well, I'd waited for 10 years for Bec to propose, and I thought, 'Bloody hell..

. I'm just going to have to do it'." He also got the ring himself, with no help from Bec.

"I took the plunge!" he said. Seems like friends and fans were on the same page. "The hard thing is most people went, 'About bloody time'.

There was no congratulations, just yelling and [asking] 'Why didn't you do it earlier?'" Andy Lee announced his engagement to long-time partner Rebecca Harding in an episode of The Hamish & Andy Podcast that dropped at midnight on May 1, 2024. "I asked Bec to marry me on Sunday," Lee said at the time. Andy revealed some details about the romantic proposal including the location – their Ravenswood home.

The comedian said that he took Rebecca to their "new old house" under the guise they needed to film videos for social media before they start the build. Hours after Andy broke the news of their engagement on the podcast the pair showed off the beautiful emerald-cut engagement ring in a joint Instagram post. "People keep saying we rushed into this, but we don't care what people say," they cheekily captioned the picture.

Andy and his partner Bec were among the 288,000 fans who caught global superstar Taylor Swift during the Melbourne leg of her 2024 Eras Tour. The TV host posed with his arm around Bec in snap taken at the MCG, with Taylor in the background on the big screen. Shortly after the concert, Andy revealed how Taylor Swift actually played a role in his brief 2016 split with Bec .

"In about 2016 when Taylor was out, I got tickets for Bec and I...

and then we broke up," he told 2DAY FM's Hughesy, Ed & Erin "Bec's a much bigger fan than I am, so I gave Bec the tickets." Andy recalled that at the time someone sent him a video of Bec singing along at the concert to Taylor's lyrics, " We are never, ever getting back together". "And so when that song came back on eight years later, I looked across to [Bec] and said: 'We are actually'," he laughed.

It seems Andy and Bec scored some pretty epic seats to the Tay Tay concert. While Bec shared a close-up snap of the singing superstar, Andy shared a sweet message among the 96,000 record-breaking fans..

. We'd be smiling too if we were this close to music royalty. In February 2024, Andy and Bec shared some fun snaps from the weekend that made history.

On the opening night of Taylor's Melbourne performances, the MCG was packed with 96,000 lucky Swifties – the biggest crowd of Taylor's career. While Andy was one of the lucky ones to nab tickets to Taylor's sold-out show, it was his girlfriend's happiness that truly made his night special. "Taylor was amazing but watching just how happy Bec was being there was my favourite part of the night," he captioned the right photo.

While Bec captioned the snap of Tay with: "Us, Taylor and 96,000 people. Unbelievable!!" Bring on the festive season! What were Andy's plans in 2023? To spend Christmas between his and girlfriend Bec's families, he told 9Entertainment exclusively. "Christmas used to be crazy at our house," he explained.

"Everyone got everyone presents, the present giving would last [over] four hours." Now, the Lee family keep it simple with a classic Kris Kringle – not without a special Christmas "clue". "One thing that we do is, every Christmas card has to have a cryptic clue on it," he said.

"A secret message and everyone in the room could have a guess before they opened the present. "Bec was worried about that the first year and now she's a bit of a pro." As for the best gift Andy's ever received? Keep on scrolling though! As he geared up for an exciting new Christmas Special of The Hundred with Andy Lee , the host spoke exclusively 9Entertainment about his favourite festive memories.

"The best ever gift was from my brother back when I was 12," Andy began. "He saved up his money and got me a SEGA Mega Drive, because mum and dad said that they weren't going to buy us one. "He found the cheapest one, second-hand, it came from Asia and had the wrong plug so it was a tough couple of days while we located an adaptor," he said.

But it was well worth it when they could finally play their game! Embracing all things Christmas, Andy shared this epic throwback to his Instagram . "Merry Xmas all from us Lees 🎅🏽🌲x," he captioned the photo. Now doesn't young Andy look dapper! In November 2023, Andy's partner Bec Harding shared this epic throwback of the TV host taken at his very first formal.

Earlier, Andy posted about his first formal on Instagram , and revealed his date at the time was a foot taller than him! "I found this photo of me going to my first ever formal. No idea why I sat in the seat for this shot and my partner Jo stood. She was already a foot taller than me! And I'm in my grandpa's suit that is fitting a treat," Andy wrote.

On the topic of throwbacks, here's one of Andy's first ever photoshoot with second half of the comedy duo Hamish and Andy...

and are those tea bags in their beer?! "I just found this picture from Hamish [Blake] and my first ever photoshoot. My guess is 2004!," Andy captioned the photo. "Absolutely no idea why we'd have tea bags in a Crown lager.

If anyone can interpret any type of vague joke that we may have been attempting, please enlighten me in the comments. @hamishblakeshotz , do you have any idea?" OK, we had to include a third. In February 2022 , Andy shared another iconic photo with Hamish.

"Got tagged in this photo today and have no idea where it's from but I think it could be the single worst photo of me and Hamish I've ever seen and for that...

I just LOVE IT!" he wrote. WE LOVE IT! And we promise there's more..

. In October 2023, Andy celebrated his nine-year anniversary with girlfriend Rebecca Harding. He shared a sweet post to Instagram to mark the special occasion and was met with a few cheeky comments .

"I met this girl 9 years ago today...

she's still hanging around and I'm still looking goofy beside her!!!All the love @rebeccalharding ❤️," he wrote alongside the photo. This thoughtful Henri moment. When Henrietta had surgery in August 2023, Andy posted this fun snap donning matching dog cones.

"Henri had surgery today so I'm wearing a cone in solidarity...

" he captioned the photo. July was a big month for Andy! His show The Hundred with Andy Lee was nominated for Most Popular Comedy Program at the 2023 Logie awards. The star host snapped some stunning pics with girlfriend Bec before the red carpet arrivals.

"Last night for the Logies: trying to be a model alongside actual model," he captioned the photo. "Also, I often forget to acknowledge the effort that goes into outfits and preparation by @rebeccalharding . She nailed it again.

She looked stunning. Next year I'll remember to tell her 🥰." From formal attire to wet suits, we love seeing Andy and Bec's many looks.

"Snorkel mode 🤿 Relax mode 🏝️ Activities mode 🏄‍♂️ Hiking mode 🥾. The many outfits of the Bec & Andy dolls. Buy them all! Batteries not included," Andy captioned a string of photos from their 2023 Hamilton Island getaway .

We said there'd be more throwbacks. Scout's honour! Here's Andy with his sister Alex and check out those scout badges. "This photo definitively proves that Scouts is cool 😎 I've got a chick hanging off me and everything," he wrote.

Another adorable throwback! Young Andy looking dapper in his little blue sweater and skivvy. SOLD! In November 2023, Andy shared an update on the fixer-upper he purchased with Bec in Melbourne. "Two years ago, we bought 'Ravenswood' - a Melbourne river property built in 1876," he captioned the photos.

"It had no electricity, no running water and grass growing through it. We had no idea what we were in for and what it would become..

. we still don't, but you can follow it at @thebuild_ravenswood 🏠Whatever happens, it'll look better than my moustache that day." To celebrate Hamish Blake's birthday, Andy posted this pic from one of the Blake family's epic costume parties.

"Happy birthday to the fellow who makes me laugh more than anyone in the world. What a friendship! It feels like it's been going since 1960. Here's to another 80 years 🍻.
