As the ‘Amazing’ Spider-Man, Andrew Garfield’s portrayal had always been among fans’ favourite choices. While it has been almost three years since Marvel Studios brought not one but three live-action versions of Spider-Man on the big screen, Garfield recently looked back on being a part of No Way Home and described it as a “really healing” experience for him.
The actor also shared that he would absolutely love to come back in the role, but only if there was any new, unique, and exciting concept. Speaking to Esquire magazine, Garfield added, “For sure, I would 100 per cent come back if it was the right thing, if it’s additive to the culture, if there’s a great concept or something that hasn’t been done before that’s unique and odd and exciting and that you can sink your teeth into. I love that character, and it brings joy.
If part of what I bring is joy, then I’m joyful in return.” It is pertinent to note that Andrew Garfield debuted as Peter Parker in 2012’s The Amazing Spider-Man. However, his stint was cut short after the film’s sequel underperformed at the box office, bringing the role to an abrupt end.
