Andi Eigenmann honors late mom Jaclyn Jose in new tattoo. | Image: Instagram/@andieigengirl After her viral photos with partner Philmar Alipayo getting inked together , Andi Eigenmann revealed the full design of her new tattoo as well as the meaning behind it, saying it’s a way to honor her late mother, seasoned actress Jaclyn Jose. On her Instagram page, Eigenmann shared photos of her showing off her new palm-leaf tattoo as a reference to her mother winning the Palme d’or for Best Actress at Cannes Film Festival in 2016.
“Got my long overdue palm leaf in honor of my Nanay,” she wrote, adding that she purposely got it days before Jose’s first death anniversary. “A palm d’or winner for best actress at the Cannes film test, her proudest achievement is just one of the reasons.” Eigenmann explained that the tattoo also symbolizes other facets of her mother that she would like to embody, including “strength and victory.
