Ananya Panday has been busy with movies, TV shows, and brand endorsements. Despite her hectic schedule, she has made special appearances in notable films, including the song 'Heart Throb' in 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, and more recently in Vicky Kaushal’s film 'Bad Newz.' In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Ananya was asked whether she enjoys doing cameos or if she does them to build connections with other actors and filmmakers.

She reminisced about how several Bollywood stars appeared alongside Shah Rukh Khan in the song 'Deewangi Deewangi' from Farah Khan’s 'Om Shanti Om.' Ananya Panday said, “How Karan always brings back Rani Mukerji and Kajol in his movies.” She added that from the audience's perspective, seeing favorite stars appear on screen while enjoying a movie and popcorn is exciting they’re like, ‘Oh, that’s my favorite actor.
’ This kind of excitement motivates her to take on special appearances in films. During the conversation, Ananya Panday mentioned her interest in exploring the horror or horror-comedy genre. She revealed that her all-time favorite film is the 2007 Priyadarshan movie Bhool Bhulaiyaa, which still manages to scare her.
She expressed, “I want to look in the mirror and scare myself. I want to do something completely different.” On the work front, Ananya is preparing for the release of her film CTRL on Netflix, scheduled for October 4, 2024.
