Thursday, August 29, 2024 Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel is thrilled to unveil a special culinary event featuring Indian Accent, the trailblazing modern Indian restaurant that celebrates 15 remarkable years of culinary innovation. This exclusive residency will bring the unique flavors of Indian Accent to Bangkok, offering an unparalleled dining experience for guests. The pop-up will take place over four weeks, from September 7-22 and October 1-15, with a brief pause for the World Gourmet Festival, hosted at Anantara Siam at the end of September.

Indian Accent, renowned for its creative interpretation of Indian cuisine, masterfully combines traditional flavors with contemporary cooking methods. The cutting-edge menu is crafted using fresh seasonal ingredients and exotic components from around the globe, catering to both adventurous palates and those with a taste for the familiar, evoking a sense of nostalgia. Indian Accent has garnered numerous accolades, including the title of Best Restaurant in India by Condé Nast Traveller and La Liste.



It has also been a staple on the Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants list for over 12 years and features prominently on the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list. Throughout the residency, Indian Accent will present a selection of its iconic dishes that have redefined Indian dining on the global stage. The menu, curated by Shantanu Mehrotra, Executive Chef of Indian Accent New Delhi, will feature dishes that blend traditional flavors with a modern twist, each telling its own unique story.

Joining Mehrotra will be Head Chef Hitesh Lohat and a skilled team of chefs and managers from Indian Accent, New Delhi, to deliver the authentic Indian Accent experience in Bangkok. Guests will have the option to enjoy this experience through a tasting menu or an à la carte selection for both lunch and dinner. The residency promises to delight guests by reimagining traditional Indian dishes with Indian Accent’s inventive culinary approach.

Highlights from the non-vegetarian menu include braised lamb shank, barley haleem, sweet onion curry, rawa fish, malwani rassa, sago and peanut vada, malai chicken, gobindobhog mushroom payesh, and fresh truffles. The vegetarian menu features delectable options such as sweet corn muthia, masala methi roti, fresh burrata, tofu medu vadai with pearl onion chutney, pickled beetroot, and roomali paneer with flame-roasted tomato and peanut salan.
