Monday, October 7, 2024 A vibrant two-day celebration showcasing the rich cultures of Northeast India and Kerala is set to take place in Delhi NCR in honor of Diwali. Named Anant Samagam , this festival is scheduled for October 26-27, 2024 , at the splendid Travancore Palace , a Cultural Center of the Government of Kerala located in the heart of New Delhi. The event is being organized by the Aalekh Foundation , a non-profit organization, in collaboration with the Amazing Namaste Foundation .

Anant Samagam aims to foster a deeper appreciation for the art, music, and tourism of these two culturally rich yet geographically distinct regions. The festival aspires to establish a vibrant platform that highlights the extraordinary diversity and richness of India’s cultural heritage. Attendees can look forward to a wide array of cultural offerings, including arts and crafts, handloom displays, culinary presentations, engaging panel discussions, fashion shows, and energetic rock concerts.



The festival has attracted considerable backing from both the public and private sectors, reflecting a strong communal enthusiasm. The Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA) and the Handloom Department of the Ministry of Textiles have lent their support, acknowledging the event’s potential to uplift traditional weavers and artisans. Additionally, the Kerala Government , including the Ministry of Culture , Fisheries , Kerala Tourism , KSIDC , Kerala Lalit Kala Academy , and Kerala Folkl.
