The assailants entered Singh’s house under the pretext of asking about his luxury car’s registration certificate, which he had recently purchased for Rs 1.5 crore.

Singh’s family has accused his first wife’s relatives of orchestrating the attack. His mother has called for strict action against the accused, and an FIR has been lodged against five family members of his ex-wife, according to ANI. The Punjab government has directed the Amritsar Police Commissioner to take swift action in the case.
