Celebrities filled the red carpet for Glamour's Women of the Year Awards at the luxurious Raffles London Hotel on Tuesday evening. The awards aim to celebrate activists, record-breakers and pioneers who have done their bit for women's equality over the past year. The 2024 ceremony brings together the year's most influential figures from music, TV, film, and sport - all who have utilised their platforms to champion female empowerment.
Comedian Katherine Ryan returns as host for the fourth year. Attendees also include Strictly star Zara McDermott , Loose Women's Myleene Klass, Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards and Paloma Faith. Speaking about the event, Glamour's European Editorial Director Deborah Joseph said: “2024 has already been both a momentous and difficult year for women around the globe, with so many incredible activists speaking truth to power, as well as deeply concerning areas of regression in women’s rights.
“While we still have so much to fight for, it’s even more important to champion the gamechangers, advocates, and feminist icons who are making the world a better place for women.".
