Zara McDermott has been seen looking glum as she stepped out in public for the first time since allegations surfaced about her Strictly Come Dancing partner Graziano Di Prima. The former Love Island star was joined by boyfriend Sam Thompson as they strolled through south-west London on Monday. Zara had her arms folded across her chest as she walked beside Sam dressed in a pair of black flared trousers, a white vest and an oversized white shirt and placed a protective arm around his partner.
Zara kept her look low key wearing her hair scraped back into a ponytail and going makeup free as she walked with Sam. The outing comes as Zara broke her silence following her Strictly Come Dancing partner Graziano Di Prima being dropped from the 2024 line-up. Zara, 27, published a lengthy statement on her Instagram Stories on Tuesday morning following reports emerging over the weekend regarding her experience on the BBC show last year.
In her message to fans, Zara - who unfollowed Graziano on Instagram on Saturday - admitted her time inside the training room with Graziano was far from the dream experience she envisaged as a child. She confessed a fear of being victim shamed prevented her from speaking out sooner. Zara's statement read: "I felt it was right that I post something regarding the recent media reports.
