Thursday, August 22, 2024 Zagreb Airport has experienced a significant surge in passenger traffic, marking a 16.5% increase year-on-year, bringing the total number of passengers to 2.4 million in the first seven months of this year, according to Aeroports de Paris (ADP).

ADP is a key stakeholder in the company that operates Croatia’s largest international airport. In July alone, Zagreb Airport catered to 432,608 passengers, reflecting a 17.1% rise compared to the same month last year, as noted in an ADP press release issued on Tuesday.

Aircraft movements at the airport also saw an upward trend, with a 10.5% increase year-on-year, reaching 28,493 movements between January and July. Specifically, in July, the number of aircraft movements rose by 11.
