The 36-year-old Hollywood hunk vacation on the Spanish island took a worrying turn when he had to take a trip to the hospital . Initially, a reason behind the hospital dash wasn't given, but it has now been revealed it came after he dove deep into a pool at a villa in Ibiza during the early hours of Saturday morning.

Insiders told TMZ on Monday that the High School Musical alum dove into the pool during an outing with friends on the Spanish island. The star had taken in "a large amount of water into his lungs" after he made contact with the bottom of the pool.

The source noted that the Iron Claw actor had "showed signs of distress" in the moments following the incident, at which point security officials rushed in to assist him. Zac had been "momentarily dazed" and as a result, he was transported to a medical facility "as a precautionary measure". Medical officials performed an X-ray on Zac's chest to determine that his lungs were clear of water, sources went on to tell the outlet.
