American YouTuber Jack Doherty said he is “blessed to be alive” after crashing his $300k McLaren on a wet road while live streaming. The stream shows the 20-year-old internet star looking down at his phone in his hand while driving on a slippery Miami highway. Just seconds later Doherty is seen desperately grabbing the wheel and screaming as his luxury car slides and crashes into a guard rail.

As smoke billows from the hood of the vehicle obscuring the video, his friend Michael sitting in the passenger seat, is heard groaning in pain. Still recording, the distressed influencer flipped the camera onto himself as he fought to escape the car. In the background, motorists rushed towards the wreck while others attempted to pry open the car door as heavy rain pelted down.

“Help, help, help, break the f***ing window,” Doherty hollered. Two civilians pulled Doherty out of the window — with one hand he held onto the man assisting him to regain balance and with the other, he continued filming. He then assessed the damage to his car before running over to check on his friend in the passenger seat who was bleeding from his head and clutching his wrist.

. Michael are you good?” Doherty has since reshared the video on Instagram and posted a clip of himself and Michael being treated in hospital. The young man received intense condemnation from social media users across both posts.
