New Delhi, September 29: YouTube, the Google-owned platform, reportedly blocked songs from big artists like Adele, Nirvana, Kendrick Lamar, and Bob Dylan as part of a legal dispute. According to reports, a lot of popular songs are not available on YouTube and YouTube Music because the platform is working on a new agreement with the music rights group SESAC. Songs by artists like Adele, Bob Dylan, Nirvana, Kendrick Lamar, Green Day, and Mariah Carey cannot be found on YouTube right now because of a disagreement between the platform and SESAC.

As per a report of The Hollywood Reporter , a contract dispute has led YouTube to block songs by artists such as Adele, Kendrick Lamar, Nirvana, Bob Dylan, and more. According to reports, content managed by SESAC is no longer accessible on YouTube in the US. SESAC in the US collects royalties and protects copyrights for songwriters and music publishers.
