TRIBUTES continue to flow following the tragic death of a young Limerick woman who died this past Sunday following a car crash late last month. Hannah Frawley, of Caherelly, Grange, County Limerick, passed away on Sunday August 11 after she was severely injured in a single-car collision on the night of July 30. The young Limerick women fought bravely for her life for two weeks after the tragic crash in Cork University Hospital.

The popular 25-year-old will be laid to rest this Friday following funeral Mass at St Michael’s Church on Denmark Street. A wave of tributes have poured out from across the county in the day’s since Hannah’s death, with many describing her as a “ray of sunshine” and a “beautiful soul” who “always brought such positivity and character to each room she entered”. Hannah attended school at An Modhscoil before going to Laurel Hill Coláiste in Limerick City.

She got her college education at Limerick School of Art and Design. In an online post, a colleague of Hannah’s wrote that “Hannah was a such a sweet soul and she will be missed”. Another mourner described the late Hannah as “such a wonderful person who brought so much light and laughter into the lives of everyone she met”.
