The 40 year old Birmingham director explained: "Nostalgia informs most collecting as it's stuff people grew up with or things people wanted as a kid," reports Birmingham Live . "There is something comforting about getting your childhood back. It could be Star Wars figures or Pokémon cards which most people tossed out.

"Rare cards will be hard-to-get or stickers, most people after the 90s thought no-one would want them anymore. A lot of Victorian furniture and ceramics are not that fashionable now thanks to minimalist lifestyles but 20.
