One of the UK's most popular websites for linking people up with camping, glamping and touring holidays, Campsites.co.uk, has judged Wold Meadow the winner of Best Glamping Site North East England, in its 2024 Camping and Glamping Awards.
The site was also runner-up in the Best Adult Only Site Award. Wold Meadow, in the quaint East Yorkshire village of Wold Newton, near Driffield, is owned by Graham and Jayne White. The couple, who have lived and worked in the area all their lives, previously ran a busy leisure and tourism business for 15 years and were planning to "take things easy" when they sold that in 2019.
