'' Ramesh Narayanan sent it to Yesudas after composing a tune for the lines written by Rafeeq Ahmed, invoking the pain of a land's collapse in a landslide. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will dedicate the song to Kerala today. Yesudas sang and recorded the song in a studio in America on Friday.

Ramesh Narayan arranged the song by combining Nanak Malhar and Charukesi ragas. The release will be done at the Chief Minister's office today by handing it over to CPM PB member MA Baby. The government had released a song during floods too.

A video album featuring the song is also in the works. It will be directed by TK Rajeevkumar. It will be shared through government platforms and social media.

Ganagandharvan Yesudas will be singing another song for Wayanad. It is also written by Rafiq Ahmed. Music by Vidyasagar.

" The song will be uploaded on Vidyasagar's YouTube channel. Vidyasagar said that the income from this video will be given to Wayanad's rehabilitation. Yesudas and Vidyasagar had last teamed up in 2012 for the movie "Vaidooryam".

The duo is doing a non-film song for the first time after their 1998 superhit album 'Thiruvona Kaineettam.' "Even at 84, Dasettan'.
